DAY ONE: Enjoy a beautiful drive South aboard a new and comfortable motor coach as we travel to our first nights lodging in Powell, Tennessee.

DAY TWO: Today we arrive in the historic town of Savannah Georgia with two night’s accommodations in the heart of Downtown Historic District just steps from River Rd. at the Hampton Inn E. Bay St. with shops, restaurants, and entertainment located the Savannah River. Our dinning selections throughout the tour are wonderful and Savannah being no exception with dinner tonight located at one Savannah’s finest.

DAY THREE: Time to explore Savannah with a Narrated Trolley ride to take in all the history and charm that Savannah offers. Free time to explore or take an optional tour like: A narrated cruise on the Savannah River, or maybe a “Ghost Tour”. Dinner tonight will offer the best “low country” cuisine in all of Savannah as we travel to Tybee Island. Free time to walk along the waterfront and view all the traffic on one of the busiest waterways in the U.S. Visit the unique shops and enjoy the entertainment along river road.

DAY FOUR: Now it’s off to Charleston, South Carolina with a visit to Magnolia Plantation and Gardens with a tour of the home and grounds Est, in 1679. Take a ride on the Nature Train to see a vast array of wildlife and hear of the plantations era of wealth and prosperity during the 300 years of operations. Upon arrival to Charleston we will check into the newly renovated Francis Marion Hotel one of Charleston’s finest located in the heart of it all. Dinner tonight features one of Charleston’s most popular seafood restaurants with entrée options.

DAY FIVE: Today will begin with a narrated tour through the spectacular historic neighborhoods to see quaint cobbled streets and hear about the 300 year history of the “Holy City”. Free time in the famous Downtown Markets that have been in operation for over 250 years. Time to enjoy the great location of our hotel with so many unique things all within walking distance of the hotel and optional transportation to Patriots Point Navel & Maritime Museum. Dinner this evening will be one that you remember for years to come with outstanding “Southern Cuisine“.

DAY SIX: Asheville North Carolina is our destination to visit the outstanding Biltmore “America’s Largest Home. Built by the Vanderbilt’s this 250 room home is enchanting along with the meticulous gardens framed by the Blue Ridge Mountains. Feel what life was like at the Biltmore. Lodging tonight in Asheville, NC

DAY SEVEN: We will depart this morning for Lexington Kentucky and enjoy a stop along the way to take in the beautiful vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains and be transported to the top of Chimney Rock State Park at an elevation of 2,280 ft with views of over 75 miles, it’s beyond description! Tonight’s meal is outstanding. Lodging tonight in Lexington, KY

DAY EIGHT: We begin our travels home today with a tour of Lexington, KY including “Keeneland Race Course on the same day as the Kentucky Derby” historic horse farms, and Darby Dan Thoroughbred farm and landmarks along the way. Arrive home with fond memories and new found friends.
